Cotton Satin is one of our favorite textiles from Dutch fabric house Vlisco. In a new satin weave, the fabric is soft to the touch and has a natural shine, making it a luxe base for Vlisco’s Wax Hollandais prints. It has a smooth finish to the face side for a light-reflecting lustre, silk-like texture and effortless draping.
With a weight of around 120 gr/m², this fabric is ideal for lightweight styles that fall elegantly around the body: Dresses, skirts, blouses and palazzo pants all work well in this soft, durable cloth.
How to care for Cotton Satin
To care for your Cotton Satin pieces, simply hand wash gently in lukewarm water and iron inside out (on the non-shiny side) at a maximum temperature of 110°C.
